Confidential Opportunity - Business Development Manager\n Location: Midlands (Field Based)\n Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic + OTE circa 25% + uncapped commission + additional bonuses\n Job Type: Full Time\n\nWe are currently partnering with a well established, family owned business operating within the security and access control sector. Due to continued growth and ambitious expansion plans, they are now looking to appoint a driven Business Development Manager to support the next phase of their commercial development.\n\nThis is a pure new business focused role, designed for someone who thrives on hunting for opportunities, opening doors and building long term customer relationships from the ground up.\n\nThere is no requirement for previous industry experience as full training will be provided. The business is looking for strong commercial sales ability, energy, and a proven track record of winning new business in a field based environment.\n\nThe company currently has a turnover of around £600k within this channel and has clear plans to grow this to £700k in the short term, with further structured growth targets beyond that.\n\nYou will be required to attend the High Wycombe office once per month for team collaboration and planning.\n\nRole Overview\n\nThis is a true hunter style Business Development Manager position, focused entirely on generating new revenue opportunities across the UK.\n\nYou will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business, building a strong pipeline, and driving sustainable growth across your territory.\n\nThis is not an account management role.

It is a proactive, field based sales position where success comes from activity, relationship building and consistency in prospecting.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n* Identify and win new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking\n * Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects\n * Conduct face to face client meetings and presentations\n * Develop relationships with new customers and re engage dormant accounts\n * Work closely with internal teams to support proposals and technical requirements\n * Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting\n * Represent the business at trade events and industry functions\n * Consistently deliver against agreed KPIs and revenue targets\n\nRequirements\n\n* Proven success in a new business or field sales environment\n * Strong ability to self generate leads and close deals\n * Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills\n * Highly motivated, target driven and commercially minded\n * Ability to manage your own diary and work autonomously\n * Full UK driving licence\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\n* £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary\n * Uncapped commission structure with realistic OTE of around 25 percent on top\n * Additional performance based bonuses\n * Company car or car allowance\n * Laptop and mobile phone provided\n * Full product and sales training provided\n * Clear progression opportunities within a growing business\n * Supportive and collaborative working environment\n\nWhy This Opportunity\n\nThis is a genuine opportunity to join a growing, family led business at an exciting stage of development.
