Payroll Compliance Subject Matter Expert Homer Road, SolihullUp to £26,500 with benefits & 25 days annual leave With over 23,000 employees working within our UK business, our Shared Service Payroll Team are integral to ensuring that all payments are accurate and timely across number of different PAYE registrations. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all processes are documented and checklists are audited monthly. You will produce a monthly dashboard to share with management detailing the internal status of Payroll Operations. The payroll team operate in a very busy environment so you will be a key member of our friendly team to ensure processes are run smoothly and correctly. You will do this by; Ensuring all LWI’s are up-to dateAuditing processes & checklist to ensure rigorous compliance & support audit activity.To carry out an initial analysis of reports for data quality Supporting the payroll team with query resolution Responding to queries raised by authorised third parties such as HMRC Supporting any other payroll project activities as directed Our Payroll team support the business across the UK and engage with a diverse range of public service work, so the role will offer exposure and extensive touch points across our community, including Contract managers, Pensions, Internal/External Audit and Finance. What you need to do the job In order to succeed within this role, you’ll be naturally customer focused to support your team and our UK&E division in delivering our Payroll operations. You’ll be comfortable in supervising, mentoring and coaching a team and be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities. You will have a good methodical and logical mindset and have a high level of mathematical ability. We are looking for a proactive and energetic individual with strong self-initiative, communication and collaboration skills combining an open and inclusive approach with the ability to create a ‘can-do culture’. Technology is integral to our business (as well as our people), so proficient use of the full Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint and Teams is vital.
