Continuous improvement, technical excellence, and client outcomes are at the heart of their culture. \n\nThe Role\n\nThis is a senior technical position responsible for managing the technical workflow and supporting Financial Planners and Advisers in delivering compliant, high-quality financial advice.\n\nYou will also take ownership of technical team oversight and operational efficiency, ensuring all outputs meet regulatory and internal standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nTechnical & Workflow Management\n\nAllocate and manage workflow across the Technical Team\nProvide first-line support and technical guidance\nOversee daily technical operationsFinancial Planning Support\n\nAnalyse client data and prepare cashflow modelling\nConduct product research and analysis\nOversee preparation of suitability reports and financial plansCompliance & Governance\n\nEnsure adherence to FCA and regulatory standards\nOversee compliance processes, MI reporting, and documentation\nMaintain and enhance technical procedures and templatesLeadership & Strategy\n\nSupport and develop the Technical Team\nReport performance and MI to Directors\nSupport business-wide technical projects and initiativesRequirements:\n\nStrong experience as a Paraplanner / Senior Paraplanner / Financial Planner\nStrong technical knowledge across financial planning disciplines\nExperience supporting or supervising junior staff (desirable)\nProgress towards Chartered status preferred\nExcellent analytical and organisational skillsThis role is ideal for a Technical Paraplanner / Financial Planner looking to step up into a leadership-focused position while remaining hands-on technically.\n\nSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
